Epiphone Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst (2001) Samick, Korea – ‘Scarface’

Price: £365

Description The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by countless guitar heroes over the years, and this Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst is a proper powerhouse. This one was built in November 2001 at the highly regarded Samick factory in Korea. Early 2000s Korean-made Epiphones are legendary among players. Guitars built during this period in Korea represent the “golden era” of Epiphone production and are widely respected for their skilled construction, quality wood selection, and excellent craftsmanship. Many players praise their consistent build quality, resonance, components, and feel, giving these guitars a fierce reputation as serious value giants. When properly set up, these Korean Epiphones are absolute slayers that can comfortably rival far more expensive modern Gibsons in both playability and tone. This 25-year-old instrument, if it could speak, I am sure has some serious stories to tell.

I would love to know the history of this guitar because it arrived having been badly scratched up in a past life. Was it a bad breakup with an ex-partner gone nuts? Was someone tripping and thinking they’d customize the guitar with a carved design using an old-school pencil case compass? Who knows! Either way, this one is definitely not for the faint-hearted. I’ve affectionately nicknamed this one ‘Scarface’ – it’s like Gary Moore & Tony Montana’s b-stard child… so “say hello to my little friend!” And just like Gary & Tony, it is made of tough stuff, with plenty of battle scars to prove it.

I have worked hard to repair the cosmetically damaged area as best as possible using several techniques, primarily utilising custom-coloured resin epoxy. While it is far from perfect or pristine, my restoration work has made a huge improvement to its overall appearance and feel under the hand. A new scratchplate was re-fashioned and fitted to cleanly cover a portion of it, and all of this is fully documented in the listing with before-and-after pictures for 100% transparency. Outside of that specific area, there is still plenty of other natural wear such as surface marks, scratches, general rubbing, dings, and authentic pitting that gives the guitar its overall authentic player-grade mojo. Please note that all imperfections are purely cosmetic, and a thorough bench inspection confirmed there are zero structural issues.

Under the hood, it comes loaded with the factory Epiphone 57CH humbucker in the neck position and a HOTCH in the bridge. To bring the hardware back up to scratch, I fitted new machine heads as the old ones had reached their sell-by date (worn out and not functioning 100%), installed a new jack socket plate, and fitted fresh gold top-hat knobs. There is genuine natural play-wear across the pickup covers and some real vintage oxidation on the bridge, rounding off its proper 2000s player-grade mojo.

As with all instruments that pass through my hands at Sosbro Guitar Co., this guitar has just undergone a thorough professional refurbishment and setup to ensure it arrives stage and studio ready and plays to its best ability. Full setups in most shops are expensive, and because of the high cost of paying a guitar tech, very few new guitars off the shelf or even second-hand guitars ever get a proper going over before being sold. I have personally already done the hard work for you. During its service, I removed the old strings, cleaned the fretwire, polished the frets, cleaned and tested all the volume/tone pots, and polished the entire guitar. Finally, it was restrung with a fresh set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wound strings (9-42 gauge), tuned, and dialed in with a comfortable medium action that makes it an absolute joy to play.

No gig bag or hard case is included in the price, but as a specialist reseller, I have various suitable options available separately. I stock a number of brand-new big brand name bags and cases, as well as a few quality second-hand options. Just ask for details, and I’ll be happy to offer a discount when a case is purchased together with the guitar.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Epiphone Les Paul Custom Ebony Black (2001) Samick, Korea

Price: £385

Description:

The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by countless guitar heroes over the years, and this Epiphone Les Paul Custom in Ebony Black is a true warrior. This one was built in July 2001 at the highly regarded Samick factory in Korea.

When this guitar arrived at the workshop, it looked like it had gone 12 rounds with both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. While it was still standing, I wasn’t entirely sure how much more it had left in its legs! However, after some serious bench time, I affectionately nicknamed this guitar the ‘War Beast’. It’s a bit like Thor’s hammer Mjölnir, a trusty weapon that needed to be reforged after plenty of battles, but is now fully ready for another lifetime of heavy playing.

Under the hood, it is loaded with an Epiphone 57CH humbucker in the neck and a HOTCH humbucker in the bridge, delivering that thick, resonant tone these Korean Customs are famous for. To ensure it performs flawlessly, I replaced the neck pickup volume pot, which had gone scratchy, as well as the pickup selector switch that was working intermittently. A brand new scratch plate was also fitted.

Condition-wise, this guitar has been played, enjoyed, and looks exactly as such. While I’ve done a proper job at cleaning and fixing it up, it is far from a pristine “case queen” but it is still great for all its years. Some areas have been sympathetically filled and made smooth to the touch to avoid further chipping or paintwork loss, but there is still plenty of other natural wear, such as surface marks, scratches, general rubbing, dings, and authentic pitting on the pickups and tarnishing of the originally gold hardware that gives it that overall authentic mojo.

Neck Structural & Cosmetic Full Disclosure: Upon arriving at the Sosbro Guitar Co. workshop, the guitar showed fingerboard lifting / separation from the nut to the 1st and 2nd fret seam, and a small gap when pressure was applied, this of course was accompanied by two finish cracks on either side of the nut. The neck and fingerboard wood itself was entirely solid with no breaks. As part of its full bench setup and repairs, the underside of the fretboard seam was injected with high-grade wood glue, clamped, and fully stabilized before being cosmetically tidied and polished smooth. It is now rock-solid, smooth underhand, and ready for many more years of heavy playing. I am so confident of the repair and that this won’t be a problem in the future that whilst I do not normally offer guarantees, in this instance, should the guitar neck fail in this specific area only, I will accept a return and provide a full refund up to 6 months from the date of purchase. Please note: This is subject to the guitar being returned to me with no signs of misuse; it must be in the exact same condition as when it was purchased, other than the mentioned area failing, with no signs of further damage. Should you want I can provide you with pictures of the repair process i.e. the neck area affected before and after the repairs.

As with all instruments that pass through my hands at Sosbro Guitar Co., this guitar has just undergone a thorough professional refurbishment and setup to ensure it arrives stage ready and plays to its best ability. Finally, it was restrung with a fresh set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wound strings (9-42 gauge), tuned, and dialed in with a comfortable medium/low action that makes it an absolute joy to play.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Pro (2012)

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Pro Trans Purple Faded Burst (2012)

Price:£380

Description: The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by countless guitar heroes over the years, and this Epiphone Les Paul Standard Pro in a truly unique Trans Purple Faded Burst is a solid rock machine. Built in November 2012 at the highly regarded Qingdao factory in China, this has clearly been someone’s go-to instrument.

It looks to me like this guitar started off life as a Trans Blue Burst, but after some serious sun exposure over the years, it has naturally faded into an incredible Trans Purple Faded Burst. Between that unique aging and the particularly nice flame maple top, this guitar feels like a bit of a unicorn. Maybe you don’t see many like these, or maybe it’s something to do with the colour, but I could easily see an artist like Prince rocking this one out on stage! Unsurprisingly, not only does it look and feel great, but thanks to the Epiphone Pro features, it delivers above and beyond in the sound department.

Under the hood, this “Pro” model is packed with top-tier factory features. It comes equipped with Epiphone’s USA-designed ProBucker pickups, featuring a vintage PAF-voiced ProBucker-2 in the neck and a slightly hotter ProBucker-3 in the bridge, both loaded with Alnico II magnets for that warm, rich, and articulate classic rock bite. For ultimate tonal versatility, the electronics feature a standard 3-way toggle switch paired with full-size controls, including two volume knobs equipped with push/pull coil-splitting. This allows you to instantly drop each humbucker into a single-coil sound on the fly, giving you everything from thick, heavy humbucker crunch to snappy, Strat-like clarity.

Condition-wise, this is a guitar that has been really enjoyed over the last 14 years, and it has stood up well while picking up the usual bumps, scratches, and bruises to prove it. If you are looking for a pristine “case queen,” then step aside, because this one isn’t for you. However, if you appreciate a worn-in guitar that feels, sounds, and looks like a proper thing of beauty, this is the one for you. Some areas have been sympathetically filled and made smooth to the touch to avoid further chipping or paintwork loss, but there is still plenty of other natural wear, such as surface marks, scratches, general rubbing, and authentic play wear on the pickups that gives it that overall authentic mojo. Full disclosure: there is one area in particular (by the bridge tone pot) where I got a bit overexcited when sanding and finishing; as a result, the area now shows the natural grain. It still retains the polyurethane finish, so it is NOT sanded down to the bare wood. Please also note that two of the four speed knobs have internal cracks, though they remain fully functional. All of this is clearly shown in the pictures and video for complete transparency.

As with all instruments that pass through my hands at Sosbro Guitar Co., this guitar has just undergone a thorough professional refurbishment and setup to ensure it arrives stage ready and plays to its best ability. Full setups in most shops are expensive, and because of the high cost of paying a guitar tech, very few new guitars off the shelf or even second-hand guitars ever get a proper going over before being sold. I have personally already done the hard work for you. During its service, I removed the old strings, cleaned the fretwire, polished the frets, cleaned and tested all the volume/tone pots and the pickup switch, and polished the entire guitar. Finally, it was restrung with a fresh set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wound strings (9-42 gauge), tuned, and dialed in with a comfortable medium/low action that makes it an absolute joy to play.

Due to the extensive workshop setup, this guitar genuinely plays better than when it was sold brand new.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Limited Edition Red (2001) Unsung, Korea, 50’s Wiring + Other Upgrades

Price: £425

Description: The Les Paul has always been an iconic guitar, and this Limited Edition model featuring a striking translucent red stain with a gorgeous AAA flame maple veneer is a proper thing of beauty. Built in June 2001 at the highly respected Unsung factory in Korea (identified by the “U” prefix in the serial number), early 2000s Korean-made Epiphones from the Unsung plant are legendary among players. When properly set up, these Korean Unsung Epiphones are absolute slayers that can comfortably rival far more expensive modern Gibsons in both playability and tone!

Under the hood, this instrument is far from standard – it has been thoughtfully upgraded by the previous owner to bring out its absolute best. It is loaded with the factory Epiphone 57CH humbucker in the neck and the HOTCH humbucker in the bridge, however it has been completely re-wired to incorporate a traditional 50’s wiring configuration. This upgrade utilises vintage-style push-back braided wire, high-quality CTS pots, and high-performance Orange Drop polypropylene film capacitors made by Cornell Dubilier Electronics (CDE). This premium electronics overhaul really opens up the pickups, giving you incredible control and a beautiful, dynamic tone.

Condition-wise, this is a guitar that has been really enjoyed over the last 25 years, and it has stood up well while picking up the usual bumps and bruises along the way to prove it. If you are looking for a pristine “case queen,” then step aside, because perhaps this isn’t for you. However, if you appreciate a worn-in classic, with genuine battle scars and proof of proper enjoyment, this is maybe the one. It has matured beautifully, much like a fine wine. A few of the larger dents have been sympathetically filled and made smooth under the touch in order to avoid further chipping or paintwork loss, but I intentionally decided to leave some of the other natural wear, such as the belt buckle rub, some surface marks, and authentic play-wear on the pickups because it gives the guitar so much authentic character and mojo.

It features Epiphone Vintage logo tuners, and while all the hardware has been thoroughly cleaned during its service, I made a conscious attempt NOT to make it look pristinely new. I wanted to keep that authentic VOS (Vintage Original Spec) aged look that people seem to pay vast amounts of money for the Gibson Murphy Lab to reproduce! (Please note: at the time of writing this listing, the guitar is showing 4 x broken speed knobs in the photos. I am awaiting brand new replacements which will be put on the guitar as soon as they arrive).

During its service, I removed the old strings, cleaned the fretwire, polished the frets, cleaned and tested all the upgraded volume/tone pots and the pickup switch, and polished the entire guitar.

If you are looking for a guitar that feels, sounds, and looks like a proper thing of beauty with years of history baked in, this absolute slayer is the one.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard ’50s “Inspired by Gibson” Heritage Sunburst (2023)

Price: £425

Part of Epiphone’s highly acclaimed “Inspired by Gibson” Collection, this Les Paul Standard ’50s Figured in a stunning Heritage Sunburst lovingly recreates the feel and tone of the 1950s-era Les Pauls. Built in February 2023 at the highly regarded Qingdao factory in China, this guitar delivers the vintage accurate specifications and classic aesthetics that Les Paul players love.

Having bought, sold, and played countless Fenders, Gibsons, and Epiphones over the years, the “Inspired by Gibson” series stands right up there among my absolute favourites for value, build quality, and sheer playability. They deliver a proper Les Paul feel with rich, touch-sensitive vintage tones.

This model is crafted with all the key ingredients you would expect: a solid mahogany body paired with a maple cap and a gorgeous, highly figured flame maple veneer that gives it the stunning looks of a far more expensive instrument. It features a mahogany neck with a historically accurate 1959 Rounded Medium C-profile and a long neck tenon for exceptional stability and added sustain. The fretboard features classic pearloid trapezoid inlays.

It is powered by a critically acclaimed pair of Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers, with a ProBucker 1 in the neck position and a slightly hotter ProBucker 2 in the bridge.  Together with CTS potentiometers, Mallory Capacitors, era-appropriate 50s wiring, and gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers, this setup delivers a beautifully balanced, dynamic tone in all three switch positions. The Kalamazoo-style headstock is equipped with Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners and a Graph Tech nut, ensuring rock-solid tuning stability and reliability.

Condition-wise, this instrument is in damn near perfect condition and has clearly been well cared for. The only minor cosmetic signs of use are a surface-level small dent and a light scratch located near the bridge volume pot. These are purely cosmetic, do not affect the playability or structure in any way, and have been clearly photographed for complete transparency.

Due to the extensive workshop setup, this guitar genuinely plays better than when it was sold brand new. I can assure you, if this becomes your new axe, you will not be disappointed!

Epiphone Slash Les Paul Standard Appetite Burst Inspired by Gibson Collection – Amber Burst (2022)

Price: £595

Description

Part of Epiphone’s hugely acclaimed Inspired by Gibson Collection, this Slash Les Paul Standard Appetite Burst in the iconic Amber high gloss finish is an absolute beast of an instrument. Built in January 2022 at the Qingdao factory in China, this guitar celebrates one of the most famous signature models in rock history.

Having bought, sold, and played countless Fenders, Gibsons, and Epiphones over the years, the Inspired by Gibson series stands right up there among my absolute favourites for value, build quality, and sheer playability. This particular example has that intangible magical “mojo” thing going on, it is just one of those guitars that you pick up and find yourself just not putting down!

Underneath that carved hard maple cap and beautiful flame maple veneer, you get a solid mahogany body paired with Slash’s personal custom C-shape neck profile. Electronics-wise, it comes factory loaded with Epiphone Custom ProBucker Alnico 2 humbuckers, wired to high-quality CTS potentiometers and genuine Orange Drop capacitors. This setup gives you that unmistakable Slash tone: warm, touch-sensitive cleans that roll effortlessly into raw, articulate, biting lead tones with incredible sustain. You also get factory Epiphone strap locks, nickel hardware, and Slash’s signature “Skully” logo on the back of the headstock.

Condition-wise, I go through all my guitars thoroughly on the bench so I can notice, rectify, and inform you of any visual imperfections, no matter how small. During the setup inspection, I noted a few minor cosmetic details: there was a small dent near the Low E tuner on the headstock, which I have sympathetically filled and polished to prevent any chipping and ensure it feels smooth to the touch under your fingers. There is also a very minor, surface-only lacquer crack near the bridge height adjuster, a repaired Low E tuner mechanism, and some light natural aging/pitting on the nickel stopbar tailpiece. Everything mentioned above is purely cosmetic and does not affect the structure or playability in any way.

The included original Epiphone custom hardshell case has a few minor cosmetic marks from handling, but again these are purely superficial and the case is 100% solid and fully functional.

As with all instruments that pass through my hands at Sosbro Guitar Co., this guitar has just undergone a thorough professional refurbishment and setup to ensure it arrives stage ready and plays at its absolute best. Full setups in most retail shops are expensive, and because of the high cost of paying a guitar tech, very few guitars, even brand new off the shelf or second-hand ever get a proper going over before being sold. The added value of buying through Sosbro Guitar Co. is that I have personally already done all that hard work for you. During its service, I removed the old strings, cleaned the fretwire, polished the frets, cleaned and tested all the volume/tone pots and the pickup switch, and polished the entire body. Finally, it was restrung with a fresh set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wound strings (9-42 gauge), tuned, and correctly intonated, dialed in with a comfortable low action that makes it an absolute dream to play.

Due to the extensive workshop setup, this guitar genuinely plays better than the day it left the factory. Considering these were retailing around £800+ new, getting a fully serviced, killer-playing Appetite Burst complete with its original custom hardshell case & Epiphone strap locks for £575 is a serious bargain. These signature models never hang around long, so don’t miss out!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Epiphone Les Paul Standard ’50s Plain Top – Classic White (2025)

Price: £450

Description

Part of Epiphone’s highly acclaimed “Inspired by Gibson” Collection, this Les Paul Standard ’50s in a stunning Classic White lovingly recreates the feel and tone of the 1950s-era Les Pauls. Built in July 2025 at the highly regarded Qingdao factory in China, this guitar delivers the vintage accurate specifications and classic aesthetics that Les Paul players love.

The now discontinued Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50’s Classic White Exclusive was crafted with all the key ingredients you would expect: a solid mahogany body paired with a maple cap, and a bound mahogany neck featuring a historically accurate ’59 Rounded Medium C-profile with a long neck tenon. It is powered by a critically acclaimed pair of Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers. Together with CTS potentiometers, era-appropriate wiring, and gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers, this setup delivers rich, dynamic tones, from smooth, warm cleans to biting, articulate lead sounds. The Kalamazoo-style headstock is equipped with Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners and a Graph Tech nut, which together with the long neck tenon all contribute to its tone which is to die for, its tuning stability, sustain, and reliability. This guitar delivers in all areas!

Condition-wise, this instrument is absolutely flawless; I have struggled to find any marks on her. It is in “as new” pristine condition, honestly, it is like the previous owner gave this guitar special treatment, and only ever played it wearing a suit made of bubble wrap! (yes, that conjures up strange images for me too!)

As with all instruments that pass through my hands at Sosbro Guitar Co., this guitar has just undergone a thorough professional refurbishment/setup to ensure it arrives stage ready and plays to its best ability. In addition to the usual wood restoration treatments, this guitar’s fretboard was specially treated with Monty’s Montypresso (the original guitar relic wax), which has beautifully darkened the board and fed the natural open-grain wood. Finally, it was restrung with a fresh set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wound strings (9-42 gauge), tuned, and correctly intonated, dialed in with a comfortable low action that makes it an absolute joy to play.

Due to the extensive workshop setup, this guitar genuinely plays better than when it was sold brand new. These guitars retail for £550+ new, so this is a fantastic opportunity to grab yourself an upgraded, pristine bargain. The previous “Inspired by Gibson” guitars I have had in stock just don’t hang around very long, so don’t miss your opportunity to get yourself a beaut, otherwise you will kick yourself for sure!

Condition: Used – “As new”, pristine flawless condition (see description)

Epiphone Les Paul Custom Heritage Cherry Sunburst 2001 (Korea Factory, Unsung) Upgraded 50’s Wiring

Price: £525

Description:

The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years, and the Epiphone Les Paul Custom has always been the “top of the range” in terms of aesthetic, features and presence. This particular example was built in October 2001 at the highly regarded Unsung factory in Korea.

Early 2000s Korean-made Epiphones from the Unsung plant (typically identified by the “U” prefix) are often considered part of the “golden era” of Epiphone manufacturing. These guitars are widely respected for their skilled construction, quality wood selection, and excellent craftsmanship. When properly set up and maintained, these Unsung-built Customs have developed a strong reputation as serious “value giants,” comfortably rivalling far more expensive instruments in both playability and feel.

This guitar has clearly been someone’s “number one” for a long time. It has picked up some honest “war marks” over the years, and discoloration of the gold hardware, typical signs of a great feeling guitar, that a previous owner simply couldn’t put down. This guitar just oozes mojo! Most of the marks and bumps are only noticeable under direct lighting, or when looking up closely, and these are purely cosmetic, with no structural issues. What you can see clearly is that there was some damage to the upper rear front area, (where your right arm rests); this has been re-repaired to a smooth, shiny finish. I have shown all these details as clearly as possible in the pictures and video.

The guitar has just undergone a thorough professional refurbishment in the Sosbro Guitar Co. workshop to bring it back to its best:

• Electronics Overhaul: The previous owner had installed high-output pickups (Iron Gear Hot Slags) and push-pull electrics. Not to my tastes and in my personal opinion, this didn’t do the guitar justice, so I have reverted it to a more vintage-correct character. I have sourced era-correct pickups, an Epiphone 57CH(G) for the neck position and an Epiphone HOTCH(G) in the bridge, providing that classic balance of warm, smooth “PAF” neck tones and a punchy, rock-ready bridge output. The pickup covers are now chrome however as most the gold plating had faded they don’t look out of place, whereas new gold covers would have dramatically changed the aesthetic.
• Sosbro 50s Wiring Harness: To truly make this guitar sing, I have installed a Sosbro Guitar Co. 50s-style wiring harness upgrade (usually priced at £80). This features the best quality components: 4 x CG CTS (USA) 500k Pots and 2 x SoZo (USA) Nexgen 0.022uf Vintage Yellow Mustard Capacitors, all hand-wired with solid 20 AWG tinned wire. This upgrade significantly improves the guitar’s clarity and tonal response. More details of the harness can be found in my other listings.
• Professional Setup: Restrung with a fresh set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wound strings (9-42 gauge) and set up for comfortable, medium low action for smooth playability.

Epiphone Les Paul Customs made in the Unsung Factory are becoming harder and harder to find, especially with these kinds of high flame tops. This is an absolute beast of a guitar, with a stunning flame top and a sound and feel that a lot of guitars just don’t have, it’s now fit and ready for its next 20 years of service.

I can assure you, if this becomes your new axe, you will not be disappointed!

No gig bag or hardcase is included in the price, but as a specialist reseller, I have various suitable bags and hardcases available separately, just ask for details. These bags and cases are listed separately on eBay however, they will be offered at a discount when purchased together with a guitar.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Framus AK74 (made by Warwick, Germany c.2001) – Refinished in Vintage Sunburst Nitrocellulose

Price: £1,850

Description:

A superb and increasingly hard-to-find Framus AK74, built in Germany by Warwick around 2001 as part of the reissue run inspired by the iconic 1974 Jan Akkermann signature model. This example was originally produced for Framus artist/demo use and showcases the intelligent refinements Warwick introduced while retaining the unmistakable character of the original AK 74.

The modernised AK74 moves to a neck-through construction, a feature Jan Akkermann originally wanted in the 1970s but couldn’t be implemented at the time. Combined with its updated D-profile neck and a comfortable nut width, just under 43mm, the guitar plays noticeably smoother than the wide-neck originals.

A defining AK74 feature of this instrument is the large f-hole, this paired with a body that is hollowed on both sides of the flamed maple neck, not only keeps weight down but also adds to the guitar’s open, airy acoustic response. Instead of the spruce top found in the original 1974 model, this reissue uses a beautifully figured, two-piece 20mm flamed maple top, together with a flamed maple back and a flamed sycamore maple neck-through core.

The electronics faithfully reproduce the original 6-way switching concept, complete with the large rotary selector. However, Warwick upgraded the pickups to Seymour Duncan humbuckers (SSH-2 N & SSH-4), addressing the bass-heavy reputation of the 1970s guitars and giving the updated instrument a far more versatile and articulate voice.

Originally finished in Cherry Sunburst, the factory lacquer unfortunately failed over time. Around 2021, the guitar underwent a refinish/refurbishment by the late Fern of Fern Evergreen Guitars, now presented in a stunning Vintage Sunburst Nitrocellulose finish. As the refinish was carried out in a small custom guitar workshop, it is not 100% perfect; however, some of the minor flaws add genuinely to its character, and the instrument has been priced accordingly. These small imperfections are clearly shown in the photos and video under direct lighting. During the restoration, the original nut was also upgraded to a hand-cut bone nut.

The guitar comes complete with an Epiphone hardcase and a rare Official Framus Instruments Owner Manual, a collectible item in its own right.

The 6-way rotary switch:

1: Both humbuckers

2: Neck humbucker

3: Neck single coil (inner) and bridge single coil (inner)

4: Bridge humbucker

5: Neck single coil (outer) and bridge single coil (inner), out of phase

6: Both humbuckers, out of phase

Technical specifications:

• Made in Markneukirchen, Germany, c.2001
• 2-piece selected, 20mm thick beautiful matched flamed maple top
• 2-piece flame maple body
• Neck-through neck of selected flamed sycamore maple
• Eastern Indian ebony fingerboard
• Celluloid binding on the body
• Framus gold machineheads
• Framus Tunomatic bridge with stop tailpiece
• Original Seymour Duncan pickups (SSH-2 N & SSH-4)
• Framus 6-way rotary switch
• Bone nut
• Epiphone hardcase included
• Rare original Framus Owners Manual included

Condition: Used but in good condition.

Google Reviews:

Dealing with Ben was a sheer pleasure…the guitar was EXACTLY as described and he even threw in a free case…communication was outstanding from start to finish…I cannot recommend him highly enough

Excellent knowledge and no pressure approach of anything to do with a guitar. Repaired the broken neck of my Gibson Les Paul and made adjustments to the set up, restrung and cleaned now plays amazing. Also had a full set up and fretboard wax on a US Fender Strat now plays lovely . Bens attention to detail is the key to making your instrument play to its potential.

Had an old Aria 9300 acoustic guitar with a loose tuner and required some proper TLC! Ben was fantastic throughout the whole process and now has this acoustic playing the best it’s ever felt – for all guitar fixes and servicing, Ben’s your man!

The only person I trust more with my guitars is myself seriously, if you have any needs, buying, selling or any repairs, ben is your man

My Stratocaster had lost its magic after 10 or so years of constant play, especially towards the higher end but after a few days with Ben felt brand-new again.  My fender P Bass also had years of play with no set up. I was having issues with the bridge which Ben managed to fix instantly. When adjusting the trust rod Ben noticed that the bass felt different and reverted back to its original position which was a very nice personal touch for me as it plays exactly the way I want it, keeping the string tension low. Ben assured me if I had any problems to bring it back straight away, but I have no problems at all. The write ups/reports provided are a really cool extra as I get to read everything Ben has done. 100% recommended.

Ben did an absolutely fantastic job setting up my guitar. It plays and sounds better than ever! He’s super helpful, super friendly, and clearly knows his stuff. He took the time to explain everything and made sure I was completely happy before I left. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!
