Epiphone Les Paul Custom – Ebony Fingerboard (new spec) in Alpine White 2020

Description:
The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years. This is a lovely example of the beautiful, expertly constructed, Epiphone Les Paul custom, made in 2020. This guitar was made in Qingdao factory in June 2020 and has been well looked after.

This guitar benefits from all of the most recent improved Epiphone custom specifications such as an ebony fingerboard, pearloid block inlays, CTS 500k pots, Grover tuners & Epiphone ProBucker™ pickups.

The guitar is in good condition for a rock machine enjoyed since it was built! The guitar has no dents or dings on the front however the back of the guitar has some small areas where there are some buckle marks/scratches, these are barely visible to the naked eye, and all shown in the pics and video. As would be expected some of the gold hardware has started to naturally age, again hardly visible. Please note that these are purely cosmetic and barely noticeable.

It has been recently had a full setup, making various small adjustments to lower the action and make the guitar sing, this included a fretboard condition, pots & switch being cleaned, re-strung with a new set of D’Addario nickel wound XL strings (9-46) gauge.

I can assure you if this becomes your new axe, you will not be disappointed and the envy of many!

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain top in Cherry Sunburst 2009.

The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years. This is a lovely example of the beautiful, expertly constructed, Epiphone Les Paul, made in 2009. This guitar was made in Qingdao factory in September 2009 and has been well looked after.

It has been recently had a full setup, making various small adjustments to lower the action and make the guitar sing, this included a fretboard condition, pots & switch being cleaned, re-strung with a new set of D’Addario nickel wound XL strings (9-46) gauge.

It remains in very good overall condition with loads of life left in the frets, the only thing to note is that the guitar over the years had picked up some dents, these have been sympathetically filled and polished however they are still slightly visible. I have shown these in the pictures and videos however these are purely cosmetic and barely noticeable.

The guitar has been well looked after and is brilliant condition for a guitar built over 16 years ago!

I can assure you if this becomes your new axe, you will not be disappointed!

Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Ebony (Black) 2006.

The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years. This is a nice example of the expertly constructed, Epiphone Les Paul, made in 2006.  This guitar was made in QingDao (elektrisch) factory in July 2006.

It has been recently had a full setup, making various small adjustments to lower the action and make the guitar sing, this included a fretboard condition, pots being cleaned and the guitar re-strung with a new set of D’Addario nickel wound XL strings (9-46) gauge. This guitar has nice low action and plays really nicely.

The guitar remains in good overall condition with loads of life left in the frets. The only thing to note is that over the years the guitar has taken a few knocks to the body. These are concentrated to the area of the top of the body where your strumming arm rests. These imperfections are cosmetic only and have now been either filled in or smoothed over and repolished, and they are hardly visible at a distance, but can obviously be seen upon closer inspection. These are shown in the pictures and video.

Other than the above it’s been a well looked after instrument, to be played and enjoyed. I can assure you if this becomes your new axe, you will not be disappointed!

Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Ebony (Black) 2015.

The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years. This is a lovely example of the beautiful, expertly constructed, Epiphone Les Paul, made in 2015. This guitar was made in Qingdao factory in March 2015 and has been well looked after.

It has been recently had a full setup, making various small adjustments to lower the action and make the guitar sing, this included a fretboard condition, pots being cleaned, a new pickup switch being installed and re-strung with a new set of D’Addario nickel wound XL strings (9-46) gauge.

It remains in good overall condition with loads of life left in the frets, the only thing to note is two marks on lower horn (by the neck) as shown in the pictures, these are purely cosmetic and don’t affect playability in any way. Also, these marks are hard to see, and I had to shine a torch to capture them in the photos!

The guitar has normal slight, barely visible markings for a well looked after instrument which you’d expect for a guitar produced in 2015. I can assure you if this becomes your new axe, you will not be disappointed!

Marshall Lead 12 (MK1) – Modified to allow for an external cab to be connected.

The legendary Marshall Lead 12 is a phenomenal little beast. It was styled like its JCM800 series brother’s & sisters, and packs both nice clean sounds together with that iconic Marshall Lead sound!

This amp has been modified so that you can switch between the internal speaker or plug in an external cab.

The Marshall Lead 12 has become sought after as ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons admitted it was one of his favourite amps for studio tones and he used this on the Recycler album, these have built up a cult status in recent years. They have a very close tone to a Marshall JTM/JCM.

It’s a perfect amp for direct or low volume recording, playing in the bedroom or even for live sets.

You have tone for days, everything from a slight clip to full on overdrive.

Please note that when connecting an external speaker, the external speaker cabinet should match the Impedance of the internal speaker in order to avoid any issues. In this instance that is 8ohms. Whilst it may be possible to use an external speaker cabinet ‘one step down’, this we understand will make the amp run hot, and will eventually make the amp overheat and ultimately fail, causing irreparable damage to parts.
