The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years. This guitar is a B-E-A-utiful example of the stunning, expertly constructed, Epiphone Les Paul. This guitar was made in the Qingdao factory in China in July 2014.
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom Classic PRO Electric Guitar was a limited edition 2014 model and featured a distinctive Ebony finish Maple veneer on a Mahogany body with antiqued binding. The Les Paul Custom was first introduced in 1954 by Les Paul himself, and has since become one of the most popular and iconic electric guitars in the world.
This “Tuxedo” limited-edition guitar Epiphone Custom Classic Les Paul has been finished in solid Ebony, along with gold hardware , (now faded, as usual aging naturally does), a 22-fret fingerboard with Pearloid “Trapezoid” inlays, black “speed” knobs, antiqued binding. This trend-setting Ebony finish guitar features world famous genuine Gibson USA open-coil humbucker pickups with coil-tapping.
This guitar has had a full refurbishment and full setup, cleaning all parts, making various small adjustments to lower the action and make the guitar sing, this included a fretboard condition, pots & switch being cleaned, re-strung with a new set of D’Addario nickel wound XL strings (9-42) gauge.
The guitar is in really good condition overall with loads of life left in the frets. There was a small ding on the front of the guitar between the bridge and tone pot. This has been sympathetically filled and polished and is now barely visible unless under direct light and you are looking for it. There are a few minor indents by the jack socket. As typical with guitars of this age it has the usual minor light play marks/light scratches (exaggerated on the photos as under direct lighting). I have shown these in the pictures and videos. Please note that these marks are purely cosmetic. They are only really noticeable under direct lighting and not really noticeable to the naked eye. The guitar has been well looked after and is in great condition for a guitar built over 12 years ago!
Other than the above mentioned minor visual imperfections this guitar has been played, loved and been well looked after, it needs to continue to be played and enjoyed.
