The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years. This is a nice example of the beautiful, expertly constructed, Epiphone Les Paul. This guitar was made in the Samick factory in Indonesia in August 2012.
It has just had a full setup, making various small adjustments to lower the action and make the guitar sing, this included a fretboard condition, cleaned frets, pots being cleaned, and re-strung with a new set of D’Addario nickel wound XL strings (9-42) gauge.
The guitar has clearly been used and enjoyed for many years and will continue to be enjoyed as it feels and sounds great! It remains in good overall condition with loads of life left in the frets. The guitar has a dent at the bottom front of the guitar body between the jack socket and the strap pin. There is also an affected area at the back of the headstock. Other than that, there are the typical normal dents/marks and light scratches of a guitar that’s been played and enjoyed for 13 years. Please refer to the various pictures.
Full disclosure: On inspecting the guitar whilst setting it up and preparing ready for sale, it was noticed that the guitar appears to have taken a knock to the headstock at some point of its life. As a result of this, on the G string tuner there is a hairline crack (both front and back as pictured). Please note that this has not totally separated and has now been glued with titebond wood glue. This does not affect the guitar structurally in any way. I am so confident with this not being an issue, whilst I do not normally offer guarantees, in this instance, should the guitar headstock fail, in the repaired area, I would accept a return and provide a full refund, up to 6 months from the date of purchase, subject to the the guitar being returned to me with no signs of misuse i.e. the guitar must be in the same condition as when it was purchased from me, other than the headstock G string area fail, with no signs of further damage.
I have shown all of the above in the pictures and videos and I can provide more photo’s/videos upon request. These marks and imperfections are purely cosmetic and don’t affect playability in any way.
I have priced the guitar to reflect the disclosed above information.
