The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years. This is a fantastic example of the versatile and expertly constructed Epiphone Les Paul Traditional PRO-II. Based on the serial number, this guitar was made in October 2016 at the Qingdao factory in China.
The Traditional PRO-II model offers everything you would expect from a classic Les Paul, but with the added benefit of modern features, including a built-in active 9v boost circuit and coil tapping options, giving you extra power and flexibility when required. It’s a great option for players who want traditional tone with added versatility on tap.
This guitar has clearly been someone’s “go to” instrument, having been played and enjoyed. As such, it has picked up some minor scratches, bumps and knocks over time. These are purely cosmetic, do not affect playability or structure in any way, and simply add to the mojo of the guitar. All of these have been shown as clearly as possible in the pictures and video and may appear more pronounced under direct lighting. If you are looking for a pristine “case queen” this may not be the one, but if you are looking for a proper player’s guitar, look no further.
The guitar has had a full refurbishment and professional setup, including cleaning of all parts, fretboard conditioning, pots & switch cleaning, and has been fitted with a fresh set of D’Addario XL 9-42 Nickel Wound Strings. It plays beautifully with a comfortable low action.

I have sold a large number of Les Pauls (both Epiphone and Gibson) over the years, and the Traditional PRO-II models are a great option for players wanting classic Les Paul feel, looks and tone, with added modern flexibility.
Other than the cosmetic signs of use mentioned above, this is a well-built, versatile Epiphone Les Paul that deserves to continue to be played and enjoyed.
