The Marshall Reverb 12 is the brother of the legendary Marshall Lead 12 but with the addition of real spring reverb.
This amp has been sympathetically modified so that you can switch between the internal speaker or plug in an external cab. This mod can be easily reversed with no damage to the unit.
The Lead 12’s / Reverb 12’s has become sought after as ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons admitted it was one of his favourite amps for studio tones and he used this on the Recycler album, these have built up a cult status in recent years. They have a very close tone to a Marshall JTM/JCM.
It’s a perfect amp for direct or low volume recording, playing in the bedroom or even for live sets.
You have tone for days, everything from a slight clip to full on overdrive. The onboard reverb adds depth to rhythms and tails to leads.
Condition: Used but in great condition for an amp 39 years old!
